Founded in 1984 by the MIBOR REALTOR® Association, the REALTOR® Foundation awards grants to local nonprofits solving homelessness. Their vision is that everyone in our community has a safe place to call home.
Since its founding, the REALTOR® Foundation has awarded grants that support transitional and emergency housing, job assistance, mental and physical health treatment, addiction and recovery services, safe havens for domestic violence survivors, youth services, and so much more.
The REALTOR® Foundation has provided more than $2.8 million to regional nonprofits serving our most vulnerable neighbors.
To expand the Foundation’s philanthropic impact and maximize the impact of grant recipients in the community, Wheaton Moving & Storage is excited to announce a new interstate moving program designed to make financial contributions to this effort throughout the year and beyond. Available to all MIBOR Members and Affiliates, this new program offers the benefits of a corporate relocation with a local touch; each donation will be made in the name of the MIBOR member who provides the referral.
